There are so many things still to do in our current home.

Closets that aren’t organized.

Walls that aren’t covered.

Windows that aren’t dressed.

And yet – I can’t seem to get myself to tackle any of it lately.

I wish I could say I have no idea what’s going on.

But after 20+ years of decorating our homes and 15+ years of sharing those projects on the blog, it’s a pretty familiar feeling...

After 20+ years of being renters, it can sometimes feel like there isn't much left to try. But we recently swapped out a bunch of light fixtures in our newest home and discovered even MORE handy tricks that I'll break down for you next week!

Favorite Find

I like to put plants on our furniture, but I get nervous about them leaking after watering. I recently discovered these "plant coasters" that do a great job absorbing excess water AND keep my wood furniture safe!

Behind the Scenes

I do finally have the idea for my art-loving son's wall, and it involves creating an awesome design with felt bulletin board squares. I'm surprising him this week while he's at school!
