❤️ Let's Play!

Hi Reader!

As I continue to do some behind-the-scenes reflection and planning for the blog in the coming year, I've been pouring over what worked (and what didn't!) in 2024.

And probably not surprisingly, my VERY best performing post (by a landslide!) was our newly organized game closet.

Organizing games - especially post-holidays - can be a big undertaking because of all the various sizes, shapes, parts, pieces, and more.

And a quick look online will reveal all sorts of creative ways to organize your games, many spouting the benefits of "unboxing" your games.

Spoiler: Don't do it!

Over the years, I've seemingly tried ALL those ways with little success. But this year, I (finally!) figured out a way to store our games that keeps them perfectly in tact but also compact and (most importantly!) easy to access too.

If your game collection needs some serious organization, here is a complete guide to the systems working (really well) in our home!

And since my solution is usually not to move them, I get lots and lots of opportunities to try new plants each time we settle into a new place. In recent years, I've found myself buying the same few plants over and over because they are the perfect combination of 1) easy to care for, and 2) they look really good! Read on to see the three plants I always have in my home! Pathos. Pathos...

Hi, Reader! It's official - we just got notice of our community's annual yard sale date! And that was the exact motivation I needed to re-visit and update my tried-and-true garage sale prep process. Hi Reader! Last week, over on the blog, I (finally) detailed the very painful process of removing the peel and stick tile from our rental kitchen.
