❤️ My Tried-&-True Formula

HI Reader!

Over the years, I have experimented with A LOT of different materials to make labels for the various surfaces in our home(s).

From vinyl labels cut with my Cricut machine to basic text printed with a label maker (and pretty much everything in between), I've tried it ALL.

There really is no "one size fits all" solution for labeling every single thing in the home. But in recent years, I've found myself reaching for a particular product...over and over...because it really is the easiest way to make stunning labels that truly last.

(You can see examples of this process on my Household Labels | Playing Card Labels | Toy Bin Labels | Cleaning Bottle Labels)

Today, I'm breaking down my trusty formula for you here in email, so you'll always have it as a quick reference!

The Best Label Paper

To make vibrant, durable labels, the paper is what makes the difference. And after (SO MUCH) testing, I've found no better product than Avery's Waterproof Films.

This paper creates bright, crisp labels that are tear-proof, water-proof, and oil-proof.

And now: the papers come in pretty much any size you can think of (as well as full, solid sheets, which is what I usually use!)

Simply pair some of Avery's Waterproof Film Paper with any label template, and you'll have stunning, durable, ready-to-use labels in mere minutes!

NOTE: It's important to know that this paper can only be used with Laser printers. If you don't have one, ask around to friends, family, or local businesses because using this paper really is worth the cost and effort!

For Added Protection

If you need to put your printed labels onto a surface that needs to be extra durable (e.g., water bottles, toy bins, kitchen canisters, spices, cleaning bottles), I always recommend pairing AVERY Waterproof Film Papers with AVERY Self-Laminating Sheets.

Although this combination requires you to cut your labels apart manually, it really creates labels that are truly indestructible!

By the way - this email is not sponsored in any way. These just happen to be the products I've tested and loved, and I like sharing my results with you!

Read on to see the three plants I always have in my home! Pathos. Pathos...

Hi Reader! Last week, over on the blog, I (finally) detailed the very painful process of removing the peel and stick tile from our rental kitchen.
